New Everton boss Marco Silva, who worked with Richarlison during his stint in charge at Vicarage Road, appears keen on a reunion with the Brazilian attacker.
If the 21-year-old does arrive at Goodison Park this summer, then the Toffees’ contingent of wingers, which already includes the likes of Theo Walcott, Yannick Bolasie, and Ademola Lookman, will certainly be expected to excite the Everton faithful this season.
The incoming Brazilian would likely also cause at least one of Everton’s current wide men to be forced out of the club.
After a brief loan spell with Olympiacos last season, Kevin Mirallas’ time on Merseyside already looked to be drawing to a close. The addition of Richarlison to Silva’s squad would surely indicate that there is absolutely no route back into the first team fold for the Belgian anymore.
Mirallas’ time with the Toffees may be up, but that isn’t to say that the 30-year-old doesn’t still have plenty to offer in English football.
With Stoke City having officially confirmed that West Brom’s James McClean has had a medical with the club ahead of a transfer to the Potters, the Baggies are now a winger short.
West Brom manager, Darren Moore, will need to see the Irish international replaced, and Kevin Mirallas would be a great option to come in and do just that.
Mirallas has the talent to shine in the second tier. A strong campaign in the Championship, if it were to end in promotion for the Baggies too, could even put the winger back in the international picture.
Transfermarkt value Mirallas at £6.3 million, but given that he is obviously surplus to requirements at Everton, he could perhaps be available for even less. Signing Mirallas for a bargain price would be a great way for Darren Moore to get on with his rebuild of West Brom’s squad.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
