Still reeling from a frantic finale to their Yorkshire derby with Barnsley on Saturday, the Leeds United fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern are hopeful their playoff challenge can get back on track against Nottingham Forest tomorrow night.
Such is the level of optimism amongst the Whites in the bar these days, they’re entirely confident of getting three points against Forest at Elland Road as Garry Monk’s side keep the Premier League dream alive. Though the loss to the Tykes is of course damaging, Monk has brought a fresh energy to the Yorkshire giants.
Forest, despite the turmoil surrounding them, will be no pushovers mind. The Reds held off fellow strugglers Bristol City over the course of the weekend and look united in light of goings on off the pitch.
Still, if Monk field THIS strong 4-2-3-1 XI, Leeds should beat Forest on Wednesday.
