Leeds United are currently in pole position to secure the Championship title having enjoyed an incredible start to proceedings.
The Whites certainly made a number of moves during the summer transfer window and it now looks as if this is paying off in the current campaign. Indeed, Barry Douglas has been one of the signings of the summer and will be vital to their promotion push under Marcelo Bielsa.
However, the Leeds boss needs to start taking a look at his squad as a whole after a busy summer as a couple of players may not be able to work their way into his plans.
Therefore, here’s a look at TWO men that should never feature for Leeds United again…
The central midfielder has suffered through injury in the current campaign, so he is still yet to make a competitive appearance for Leeds United under Marcelo Bielsa.
Indeed, the Whites welcomed Lewis Baker to the club this summer and have found a star in the form of Mateusz Klich, so Adam Forshaw has already been pushed down the pecking order. Therefore, the 26-year-old will struggle to break into the matchday squads, with a January transfer window exit looking likely.
The Northern Ireland international hasn’t been able to have a positive impact on proceedings in the current campaign as he has been used as a last resort by Marcelo Bielsa.
Indeed, the 27-year-old has made three appearances for the Whites in all competitions so far this season, but has shown no signs of breaking into the starting lineup in the Championship.
So, it looks as if Bielsa will freeze the makeshift right-back out until the January transfer window unless a number of injuries occur in the defensive department.
