Leeds United fans here in the Tavern are looking to force an unlikely push for a playoff spot, as new manager Paul Heckingbottom looks to take the league by storm.
Indeed, the Whites got off to the worst possible start under the guidance of the newly appointed Paul Heckingbottom, as a 2-1 loss at Bramall Lane saw Leeds’ season go from bad to worse. And, to add insult to injury, the influential Kemar Roofe took a blow to the head in what was a match filled with disaster.
As if this season couldn’t get any worse for Leeds United, another injury setback has struck many of our local residents deep in the heart, as January signing Tyler Roberts is the latest casualty at Elland Road. Indeed, the 19-year-old striker was very much a part of Heckingbottom’s plans for the remainder of this season, but is now facing an extended period out on the sidelines after picking up an ankle injury in training.
Subsequently, for a side that’s already had to deal with losing defender Luke Ayling for the remainder of the campaign, seeing Roberts suffer a similar fate will spring fear among many at Elland Road, as Leeds United’s Twitter account took to notifying fans of the injury news.

Following the club’s post, fans were quick to condemn the rest of their season with the footballing gods seemingly against them, as the hierarchy continues to remain under heavy fire.
Nevertheless, here’s a look at exactly the sort of reaction being given off by supporters on social media…
