It’s beginning to get a bit tense at Elland Road as they are club struggling to bring in any more signing this summer.
Bielsa has suffered disappoint in the transfer market so far. The deal for his top transfer target, Matej Vydra, is stalling, while his pursuit for a new goalkeeper seems to be proving to be incredibly elusive. After targeting David Stockdale and Angus Gunn, Leeds are now looking at bringing in Chelsea youngster, Jamaal Blackman.
Although not top of his list of priorities, Marco Bielsa had been looking for a new winger. The Yorkshire Evening Post, had suggested last month that the club were looking at Hull City’s Harry Wilson.
The youngster has now put a dent in any potential transfer for the Leeds man as reported by Sky Sports.
“The dream of mine is to play regularly for Liverpool’s first team,”
“At the moment I am getting the chance to train at Melwood and get minutes in the friendlies and my aim is to impress the manager and stay here.”
The Liverpool forward was a consistent performer for the under-23s over the last two seasons and due to his continued progression, he was sent on loan to Hull last year. During his five-month loan spell, the forward scored seven goals in 13 matches in the Championship.
Although he wasn’t one of the priorities for Bielsa, it’s still another transfer blow for the club. Leeds need some new signings, and they need them quick if Bielsa wants to implement his new style.
