Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really eager to see who their side is going to appoint as a new manager after what has been a rather long time since Garry Monk left.
Of course, they would not have been expecting Monk to leave and so that has delayed matters but they really do need to get someone in before too long.
Indeed, many of the Whites’ fans here in the Transfer Tavern are concerned that the club is not going to perform as well as it could this season if a new man doesn’t come in but it appears we’re no nearer discovering who is to come in.
The rumours, though, are persisting with Jaap Stam’s name coming up recently.
Even so – as per The Yorkshire Evening Post on Twitter – that is looking unlikely and fans have certainly reacted to that.
Here, then, is the best of what was said:

Not everyone’s first choice but surely if we are knocking he has to speak to us? Bigger club than Reading.
