Leeds United have been one of the standout performers in the Championship so far this season as they continue to hunt down a promotion place.
The Whites will be hoping to return to winning ways after dropping points against Brentford prior to the international break in front of home support.
Interestingly, Leeds will travel to Ewood Park to face Blackburn Rovers in their next Championship fixture. Tony Mowbray’s side have been rather impressive in the current campaign and are fighting for a play-off place, so it won’t be an easy return to Championship football for the Whites.
So, Marcelo Bielsa must get his team selection right by selecting these TWO Leeds United stars…
The Wales international has filled the huge void left by Kemar Roofe excellently in the current campaign, with a number of goals to show for his hard work and efforts.
However, Roofe looks set to return for today’s match against Blackburn Rovers, so Bielsa could decide to give the Englishman a place in the side ahead of Tyler Roberts.
But, this wouldn’t exactly go down well with supporters and could harm the result due to a lack of match fitness, so Roberts must start at Elland Road as a man in-form that has shown he can find the back of the net.
Stuart Dallas has struggled to break into the first team this season, with most of his football coming on the international stage with Northern Ireland.
Although, the versatile 27-year-old has impressed massively on international duty and could be in line for a place in the starting XI against Blackburn, with Luke Ayling suspended after picking up a red card last time out.
So, it’s vital that Bielsa gives Dallas a chance to showcase his talents in the side in what has been a rather frustrating season so far.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
