With the European transfer window and EFL domestic loan window slamming shut imminently, Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa will be feeling the pressure to sort out any potential outgoings as soon as possible.
Leeds United have had an excellent start to the Championship season, unbeaten in their first four, with ten points. The Argentine manager can afford to be very pleased with how things are going so far.
Kemar Roofe has been a revelation as Bielsa has got the Whites firing on all cylinders. Tactically, he has made Leeds United a force. They feature a high press and high energy all over the park.
With the Leeds side in such fine fettle, those on the fringes of the set-up at Elland Road must be fearing their time at the club could soon be up.
With that in mind, here are two players who Bielsa should sell imminently if they don’t start performing…
The midfielder looks like he won’t fit the style of play Bielsa demands.
The £900,000 rated (by Transfermarkt) Irishman is entirely on the fringes of the Leeds set-up, and whether the 28-year-old has the technical ability or physical capabilities El Loco demands is very doubtful.
The clock is ticking for Bielsa to sort out the future of O’Kane, a loan away from Elland Road could be a good option.
The 25-year-old has had a strange career, and spent part of last season on loan in Spain at Cultural Leonesa.
Considering he is not close to being in the Argentine’s first-team plans, and has previous of playing across Europe, he could still be moved on from Elland Road this window.
Unless Bouy shows what he can do in training, Bielsa should sell this player and accept the signing was a failed experiment from the Whites before his tenure.
