Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be wanting to forget this season’s disastrous campaign quickly, and as such will be looking for the club’s board to make a number of changes in the near future.
The Whites are expected to make a number of additions in the summer, as they look to try and get back to the Premier League, and are reportedly already looking towards Germany as they identify their next possible target.
And that’s because, according to a report by Bild, the Elland Road outfit are interested in Union Berlin left-back Kristian Pederson, and it is believed the Bundesliga 2 side are seeking to cash in on the 23-year-old this summer.
And this will surely come as good news to our resident Whites supporters, what with Leeds’ chances of luring the defender to Yorkshire surely enhanced by such developments.
Landlord’s Verdict: The Leeds fans in the Tavern will be more concerned with the possibility of a striker joining them to add firepower to the Championship side – however, they will know they need to add to their defensive ranks as well.
The 23-year-old has only missed two matches this season through injury and could help to solve the Yorkshire side’s problems on the left, with Laurens De Bock failing to make the impact that was expected.
However, a number of the locals in the bar will be concerned with the players that have arrived under Victor Orta’s rule, with many of them proving to not work out, with some fans prepared to let the youth stars try their best before trusting another foreign buy.
