Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a bright future under Garry Monk as they aim for promotion to the Premier League next season.
The men from Elland Road certainly impressed a great deal in 2016/17 but couldn’t quite get into the play-off places and so they will have to go again next season.
Even so, the Whites will be confident of having a good year in 2017/18 though it appears the likes of young Jack Vann will be at a different club come kick-off for the new campaign.
Indeed, he confirmed as such on Twitter and fans were naturally quick to react to the news.
Here, then, is the best of what was said to the youngster on the social media site:
After an amazing 11 years @LUFC it’s time for a new chapter. A huge thanks to all coaches and staff past and present. Onwards and upwards
