Dream XIs: Leeds United

Leeds United have been the standout performers in the Championship so far this season as they continue to push towards promotion to the Premier League.

The Whites are looking like a force to be reckoned with this season and are the team to beat having enjoyed an incredible start to proceedings under Marcelo Bielsa.

Although, Leeds could certainly do with some added quality in what will be a very long, tiring Championship campaign. Of course, in this day and age, success would be so much easier to achieve if the Yorkshire club could create their dream XI that would consist of some of the greats over the past 10 years or so.

With that in mind, here’s a look at Leeds United’s dream XI that could easily secure a top four spot…

Bailey Peacock-Farrell has been simply sensational since enjoying his breakthrough under Paul Heckingbottom last season, and he will continue to progress in years to come.

Luke Ayling is enjoying arguably his best season at Elland Road having been in amongst the goals, while Sam Byram really made a name for himself during his time at the club. Also, Pontus Jansson has established himself as a bit of a fan favourite and always gives his all for the white shirt, with Sol Bamba alongside him.

Fabian Delph has gone on to become a superstar since leaving Leeds United, but there’s no doubt that he is one of the best central midfielders to ever play for the club. Meanwhile, the human wrecking ball Rodolph Austin is an enforcer in the middle of the park, with Jonathan Howson piecing things together in attacking areas.

Lastly, the Whites’ dream attack would consist of Kemar Roofe, Chris Wood and Jermaine Beckford. All three forwards have been prolific during their time at Elland Road, so an attack that includes all three will surely excite supporters.
