Leeds United failed to secure a positive result against Queens Park Rangers but they bounced straight back against West Bromwich Albion by securing a thumping 4-0 victory.
The Whites are going to need to ensure consistency from here on in if they are to stand any chance of securing promotion to the Premier League, with a number of teams fighting for a limited amount of places.
Of course, March could be a season-defining month for Leeds United as they’re set to face a number of tough sides, with Sheffield United and Bristol City just two of the teams to come.
So, with plenty of pressure on the shoulders of Marcelo Bielsa, here is the dream March for Leeds United…
MARCELO BIELSA CRUSHES SHEFFIELD UNITED
Leeds United will welcome Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United to Elland Road on the 16th of March in what could be a season-defining fixture for both sides, with their automatic promotion hopes on the line.
Of course, the perfect outcome for the Whites would be for Marcelo Bielsa to absolutely crush the Blades as three points could prove crucial at that stage, but he’ll need to get the very best out of his players in order for this to happen as Sheffield United have been one of the form teams in the Championship recently.
THRIVE WITHOUT KEMAR ROOFE
Kemar Roofe is currently spending time out on the sidelines after tearing a ligament in his knee during the Whites’ victory over Swansea City last month. The club’s physio Rob Price has said (as per Leeds Live) that Roofe will hopefully return before the end of the season, but there’s currently no official return date.
It’s safe to say that losing the Englishman came as a huge blow as he’s been one of their standout performers in the current campaign, with 14 goals to his name.
So, the dream month for Leeds would be to reach new heights without the 26-year-old in the side as it’s vital they keep their automatic promotion hopes on track, with Patrick Bamford and Tyler Roberts stepping up to the plate.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
