Leeds United snatched victory in injury time yet again to remain top of the Championship table.
Blackburn Rovers looked likely to secure victory against the Whites until Kemar Roofe levelled the scoreline in injury time. Roofe was the hero once again as the forward popped up to score the winner for the second time in a week deep into stoppage time. Victory against Rovers meant Leeds stayed top of the table, three points clear of Norwich in second place.
The January transfer window is just around the corner, and Marcelo Bielsa will get the opportunity to strengthen his squad to improve his chances of securing promotion to the Premier League. Reports suggest that the Argentine wants to bolster his attacking options by landing Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen.
Instead, Leeds should make a bid for Palmeiras maestro – Dudu. Valued at £7.2m by Transfermarkt, the 26-year-old has been a key player for the Brazilian side since joining from Dynamo Kyiv in the January 2015. The Brazilian has consistently been one of the top performers in the Brazilian Serie A but has taken his game to the next level in the current campaign.
Dudu has been the creative hub for his side, registering an incredible 18 assists for his team-mates in all competitions. Averaging an impressive 2.2 key passes per game, his arrival at Elland Road would mean even more goals for Roofe in the Leeds attack. The Brazilian has displayed his eye for goal, finding the back of the net nine times in all competitions. The former Brazil international is an expert dribbler, averaging 2.3 successful dribbles per game, and would cause plenty of problems for Championship defences (WhoScored).
The Elland Road faithful would quickly fall in love with the playmaker if Bielsa can lure him to Yorkshire.
