Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see how the remaining games of the season pan out as they push for promotion.
The Whites are certainly looking good for the play-off places, at least, whilst Garry Monk’s men are also probably confident they can still get into the top two spots with some crucial games to come.
Whatever happens, though, you cannot deny that this has been a successful season for the club – one they have been waiting for for some time – and a recent stat revealed by Leon Wobschall has suggested things should be even better.
He posted on Twitter:
Leeds have not scored a league goal in the first 15 minutes at Elland Road in over 2 years – last time Feb 28, 2015 (Sharp v Watford) #lufc
— leon wobschall (@LeonWobYP) 23 March 2017
Certainly, then, the Whites will be looking to improve on this somewhat surprising stat as they aim to kick on and return to the Premier League at last.
