Forgotten prospect could be the man to lead Leeds’ Premier League dream – Agreed?

Leeds fans here in the Tavern are becoming increasingly impatient as a rough run of results sees them drop down the table.

The Whites enjoyed a near enough perfect start to the season as they raced ahead to occupy one of the top 2 spots in the Championship for the opening month. However, they have currently taken a visit to struggle town as they are in the process of a 3 game losing streak as they look to be running out of gas.

An unexpected disastrous turn in form has left the side wondering what they have to do to eradicate these types of results as they look to get back on track. Could this be the departure of Chris Wood coming back to haunt United as they’ve struggled to find that outlet going forward in previous games?

Having made numerous signings during the summer months, they’ve settled down fantastically to life in the Championship as stand out Spanish winger Samuel Saiz has set the league alight with his 6 goals from a midfield position. Along with on-loan Hamburg man Pierre Lassoga finding his feet rather quickly, the in-form striker bagging 3 goals and 2 assists for the club so far.

Making some key signings in the off-season, a question begins to arise as to whether Thomas Christiansen will need to dip back into the market to smooth over any underlying problems of late.

One man who could potentially make the switch to Elland Road is Manchester United youngster James Wilson. The England U21 international has been linked with a move to the club after being made available for a loan switch by Jose Mourinho.

The striker once touted for stardom has struggled to gain a chance at United with the rise of Marcus Rashford putting him in the shadows. Still, he enjoyed an impressive loan spell in Brighton’s rise to the playoffs a couple of seasons ago but struggled to find his feet last season at Derby as he succumbed to an injury which put his career to a halt.

But for a player who scored 5 for the U23’s last season and has impressed at this level before it looks like Leeds could be set to battle it out for this man as they look to house another United youngster at the club.

So Leeds fans, would you like to see this man make the switch?
