The Leeds United fans among us in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their club’s U23 side, who beat Ipswich 3-2 last night. The Whites travelled to Portman road to take on their Championship rivals U23s and provided their fans with something the senior team has been struggling to deliver as of late – a win.
It’s been a struggle for our resident Leeds fans since the turn of the year. The club has only won a single game since January the 1st as we head into the international break and the April. The Whites won four games on the bounce in December, seeing them reach 5th place and occupying one of the four playoff spots, although, in their last 14 games, the club have picked up an abysmal 8 points out of a possible 42.
The current form of the Yorkshire club is that of a relegation candidate and considering the high ambitions the club went into the season with, it’s no surprise to see plenty of glum faces at Elland Road. On Saturday, Paul Heckingbottom’s side had a chance to turn their form around as they faced Sheffield Wednesday at home. Despite equalising in the 86th minute, they lost 2-1 to a 91st-minute goal from Atdhe Nuhiu. The Elland Road faithful now finds themselves languishing in 14th as they face a bottom half finish to a dire season.

Reckon anyone will mention that Orta has brought the majority of these players into the youth set up……..?

these are the only things that gives me any enthusiasm for renewing my season ticket….and they'll probably be out on loan somewhere next season.
