The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their club’s fantastic 2-0 win over QPR yesterday as they ended the Championship season in style. The Elland Road faithful suffered a New Year collapse that left them in 13th place and 15 points off of the playoffs, despite holding onto 6th on January 1st and being top of the second-tier for two weeks in September.

The Leeds fans propping our bar up did end the season on a positive note, despite only managing to pick up four wins since the turn of the year. Paul Heckingbottom’s side managed to round off the season with goals from Kalvin Phillips and Kemar Roofe securing the club a 2-0 home win over Ian Holloway’s QPR to finish the season on a positive note despite the atrocities that the fans have suffered between January and May.
Now comes a difficult time for Heckingbottom at Leeds as he’ll be looking ahead to the summer transfer window to bring in reinforcements to prevent the end of this season repeating itself. The club have been looking at a number of targets over the last few weeks. Kyle Bartley and Jerry Mbakogu have both cropped up as potential targets for the Yorkshire club, although for now, the fans will just be enjoying that winning feeling that they haven’t been used to as of late.
Here’s what our resident Whites’ made of their win over QPR yesterday:
The engine, Luke was back.

Great performance at the end of a poor season. I'm genuinely expecting a return to the premier league In the next two seasons. #lufc
