Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are pretty happy with their decent start to the campaign in the Championship with them unbeaten so far.
The men from Elland Road beat Bolton in their first game before drawing with Preston and then Fulham last night to leave them in touch with the top teams in the league but also with areas to improve on.
For sure, then, it seems as though it’s goals where the club needs to increase it’s productivity levels at the moment because defensively they are looking strong.
Indeed, Kalvin Phillips has certainly aided that in the middle of the park with his strong start to the campaign and this impressive tackling stat from last night is certainly propping that up – via @LUFCDATA on Twitter:

Fans, then, have reacted to this impressive reveal and so, with that in mind, here is the best of what has been said:
While that’s a good shift, it’s only ostensibly a good stat – if we had controlled midfield in the first place we wouldn’t need ‘tackles’.

He may win the tackles, but it wouldn’t be needed so much if he didn’t give the ball away so much. He left gaping holes in the midfield.

He’s a young player having a good start to the season. Not perfect but I think you are being over critical. Overall team looks decent so far

Two big tackles as well. Added a bit of bite to the midfield!

Not even close to vieira.. shouldn’t start.

What was his pass completion? I counted 7 completed passes first half which is shocking for a centremid.
