Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait until their side gets going this season as they are expecting a promotion challenge.
Things, for the first time in a while at the club, look stable and that should only mean that performances on the pitch are enhanced.
Of course, that is still easier said than done and Thomas Christiansen still has a job on but it looks as though he knows what he wants to do with the squad.
Indeed, things could see Rob Green leave the club, too, as per Phil Hay on Twitter:
Re goalkeepers: told Middlesbrough/Sunderland monitoring Rob Green’s position. Interested if he becomes available after Wiedwald deal. #lufc

That, then, has got plenty chatting on Twitter and so, with that in mind, here is the best of what has been said:

Do Boro have scouts Bandy or is Monk just looking at our players and targets and jumping in? LOL

Bit of a shame for Green however he’s not getting any younger but still feel he’s not a bench keeper after the end of last season .

Green will only leave if Leeds want him to.. he loves it here.

It would be a backwards step for the club if we got rid of him.

We’d be stupid to let him leave!!
