Leeds will be determined to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window after injuries have caused concern for their title chase.
Whilst top of the Championship for the Christmas period, the Peacocks cannot afford to get carried away with their depleted squad.
Marcelo Bielsa will be delighted with his first few months in charge but knows that the Premier League is in sight.
For how well they have been playing, it would be a disaster should Leeds fall once again and fail to gain promotion but they will feel confident with the better players and manager they’re now equipped with.
Yet now that Samu Saiz is leaving the club during the January transfer window, a replacement is needed and could be found in Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen.
Bowen, (who is valued at £4.5 million on Transfermarkt) would be the ideal upgrade for Leeds with his good form for Hull continuing even though his team have struggled this season.
With eight goals already from his wide position, he is closing in on his 14 goal tally from last time out.
Bowen has fantastic versatility that means he could play out wide and up-front as a striker. Leeds could benefit from switching Bowen’s position during the season, seeing as they will be looking for another striker as well as a Samu Saiz replacement.
With a move to Leeds, Bowen could go from a team battling against relegation, to a side striving to reach the Premier League in six months time.
That will surely be a great move for both parties involved as Jarrod Bowen is a player growing game by game and Leeds can expect great things from the 22-year-old.
