Leeds would like to believe that, under manager Marcelo Bielsa, anything is possible including promotion back into the Premier League.
It’s been a very long top flight absence for Leeds and they’re determined to solve that this season.
Having been on fire for the majority of the campaign so far, the Peacocks are equipped with a resolute back-line, as well as potent finishers who could well fire Leeds back up to the top flight.
Nevertheless, there are improvements that are possible due to recurring injuries in defence.
Despite how strong a defence they could have, too often Leeds have been forced to knock up a make-shift back-line and that could be no longer if they recruited Swansea talent Joe Rodon to come in.
Rodon, who is valued at £225k on Transfermarkt, is a very talented defender that has made a big statement this season, which happens to be his first proper one with Swansea.
Promoted from the U23’s over the summer, Rodon has made a brilliant start to life in the first-team, whilst currently having 18 Championship appearances to his name.
The imposing 6″4 centre-back is a terribly tricky player to get past, both on the ground and in the air.
Leeds will find their centre-backs are also adequate but as proven this season, riddled with injuries as well.
It would be a very sensible move for Joe Rodon, who despite being a local lad in Swansea, would have a much better chance of gaining promotion this season with Leeds rather than the Swans.
If success is what Rodon and Leeds both desire, the move seems perfect for both of them.
