Leeds will remain confident of fighting their way back into the Premier League, having kept their best stars for the promotion race ahead.
This comes after weeks of interest from other clubs for their players but Marcelo Bielsa and co stood firm, not allowing their biggest talents to leave Elland Road this window.
One of those players specifically that was dubbed for a move away for much of January is 18-year-old Jack Clarke, a player that turned down a move away so that he could stay and continue to help Leeds with their battle to achieve promotion to the top flight.
Clarke, is a youngster destined for a fine future in the game and his develop can continue at an impressive rate with regular game-time at Leeds United.
So far this season, the wide man has played his part in 15 total appearances, where he has laid on two goals and two assists.
More contribution in-front of goal will come with age but Jack Clarke has made a fine start to life in the Leeds first team, demonstrated as a number (via the Sun) of Premier League teams want him.
By staying at Leeds though, Jack Clarke is able to keep his head down and strive to make himself a better footballer because he is entrusted to play in games, whereas it’s unlikely the big sides linked with him would find space in their starting line-up.
At just 18, it’s already very clear how talented the young Englishman is and will be and now that he has stayed with Leeds past the window, he could be a massive help to them in their battle to reach the Premier League. Having missed out on Daniel James, Clarke can be the man to make the fans forget.
