Kiko Casilla is receiving the brunt of criticism after the Whites fell to a disastrous defeat away to Nottingham Forest, a match which leaves them just one point ahead of the Midlands outfit.
The leading pack is now firmly on Leeds’ back with Brentford and Fulham also winning, and fans are understandably becoming restless.
That may be what has prompted such an outrage against Casilla, as although the Spaniard could have done better to keep out Sammy Ameobi’s vital strike in the first-half, he was not to blame for the overall defeat.
There were several poor performances all-round with Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison being rated 5.7 and 6.0 respectively by WhoScored, for example.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side were also out-fought by their opponents who made 24 tackles to Leeds’ 20, but fans have decided to be less forgiving of Casilla, who has made errors for goals conceded in recent games also, such as against Millwall.
Here is some of the reaction to the goalkeeper’s performance.
He’s a risk…we can have a keeper who’s a risk. Just can’t

Fraud of a goalkeeper. Now the bench warmer is playing regularly for the first time in his career he’s getting found out.

It’s a total joke. Can’t stand Casilla. He’s cost us about 15 points. But the whole team was devoid of ideas today and low on confidence.

He’s definitely unnerving all the team week in week out so unless that’s changed we are going nowhere unfortunately

Casilla has to go. He’s worse than useless.

It’s getting embarrassing now mate. Casilla has been awful since Cardiff

Leeds fans, what do you make of Casilla? Is he costing the team promotion or is an all-round improvement from the team necessary?
