Leeds eye move for powerful skipper, would be perfect for Pontus Jansson

Now the tears have been cried, the Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern are raring to go for next season already.

While the Whites’ disappointment at missing out on the Play-Offs cannot be understated, many of the Yorkshire-based drinkers here in the bar remain delighted about just how good they looked under Garry Monk for most of the season.

So, reports from the Sun have only moved to excite them even more. They claim the Elland Road giants are keen on a move for Frederico Venancio of Portuguese side Vitoria Setubal.

The 24-year-old defender is thought to have impressed Leeds, Reading and Derby as a result of his captaining performances in central defence in recent months.

A powerful defender, the punters propping up the bar are scouring the net for information in regards to Venancio, with many of them hoping to see him partner the popular Pontus Jansson next season.
