Leeds: Fans discuss Jack Harrison after EFL Team of the Week inclusion

Leeds United are firmly in the promotion race once again this season in the Sky Bet Championship and it is evident that the Whites have got the squad capable of sustaining the challenge.
The men from Elland Road are many onlookers’ favourites for promotion this season thanks to the way they play under Marcelo Bielsa, and they are certainly looking strong at the moment with the likes of Tyler Roberts and Jack Harrison impressing most recently at the weekend.
Indeed, both players will feel they have a point to prove with the former struggling with fitness issues and the latter not always consistent, though in recent games Harrison really has kicked on.
That said, the 22 year-old starlet has been selected for the EFL’s Team of the Week (as per @EFL on Twitter) and that has got many Whites fans chatting given the criticism he has had since first joining the club on loan last season.

Let’s take a look at what has been said in light of that on the social media site:
I’ve been one of his biggest critics but absolutely overjoyed with this! It’s not about hating him. He’s a LEEDS player at the end of the day, but the fact is his performances generally haven’t been good enough to warrant his inclusion, he’s finally starting to show promise.

Don’t think there’s haters, he was rightfully criticised previously, but he’s definitely stepped up these past 5 games, seems a different player

Agreed. I was a critic of his until 5 games ago tbf. Rightly so imo but boys come good. You'd think we'd all learn that Bielsa definitely knows best wouldn't you?😂

As much as I love him it’s no coincidence that Harrison game went backwards as soon as Alioski started at LB. Alioski gets forward which is great but it smoothers Harrison and cuts him out of the game. He played a lot better with Douglas at LB and again sat when Alioski out

Interesting point, Harrison likes to get on the outside, Alioski likes to overlap, is there not an option for him to play RW if Alioski does play? Move either Hernandez and Costa to LW who both like to cut inside?

Been good all season, but his endproduct as well all know has been lacking. If he can get more consistently on the end of goals, he is going to be some player for us this season. Already racking up the assists. Much better than 15m Costa, and expect Pablo to be back starting 👌🙏
