Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see their side go well this coming season as they aim to return to the Premier League at long last.
Indeed, it’s been a long time since the club were in the top flight and they came close to achieving it last season as they just missed out on the play-offs.
For sure, then, they’ll be determined to right that wrong and make things stick in 2017/18 though they could do with sorting their new manager out before too long.
Who that is, though, remains to be seen with the Elland Road club still yet to appoint someone.
Even so, many of the players have stayed put so far so it’s not all bad and, as per Phil Hay on Twitter who cites a fotbollskanalen report, Pontus Jansson’s recent injury sustained on international duty is only minor:

Relief surely, then, for Leeds fans.
