Leeds: Fans go nostalgic for Viduka post

Leeds United saw Preston North End overtake them at the top of the Sky Bet Championship table at the weekend but only by virtue of goal difference.
The Whites were top going into Sunday but North End won at Charlton 1-0 yesterday lunchtime and ended up taking top spot as we head toward the final week of action before another international break.
Leeds fans will still be dreaming of promotion this season, though, with it now over 15 years since they were last in the Premier League.
Today marks a special milestone in the club’s recent history, too, and one that relates to their final few years in the top flight.
Indeed, it was on this day that Mark Viduka put in THAT performance against Liverpool at Elland Road as the Whites won 4-3.
It’s gone down in folklore and, rightly, a lot has been said on social media in response to the day:

I swear Alan Smith was trying to injure Viduka on the last 3 goals.

Such an awesome game – interesting if they were using VAR how many of the goals would stand
