Leeds fans have become accustomed to seeing their young stars breakthrough the academy and become near-instant hits under Marcelo Bielsa. The Whites have got a number of young stars at their club who could be the next to make the step into the senior side, and as Robbie Gotts signs a new deal it could be him.
Leeds United youngster Robbie Gotts signs new three and a half year contract with the club, to 2022. #lufc

The young English midfielder only turned 19-years-old back in November, but Bielsa has made it clear with the way he’s gone about things this season that if you’re good enough then you’re old enough. The likes of Jack Clarke, Aapo Halme, Tyler Roberts and Jamie Shackleton have all shone when they’ve been called upon and now the fans want to see Gotts added to that this season.
Plenty of fans have questioned Bielsa’s lack of squad depth this season, and with Gotts’ ability to feature anywhere down the right-hand side, he could make an effective deputy for both Luke Ayling at right-back and Jack Harrison who’s been used on the right of the club’s four-man midfield. Wherever the youngster plays, though, he’ll have the full backing of the Leeds fans.
