Leeds United are top of the Championship and are good value for their position at the top of the second-tier. However, Phil Hay has hit home just how big of an achievement that is as he’s compiled a full injury list detailing every Leeds player to suffer injury this season and how long they’ve been out for, which you can read on The Yorkshire Evening Post.
All the injuries at Leeds United this season and the number of games the players have missed. An incredible list:https://t.co/nd45o8qofP

The list is one that seems endless. In total, the Whites have suffered 25 injuries that add up to 128 games missed by their squad’s different players. That record is absolutely abysmal and will be something that Marcelo Bielsa will be keen to try and sort out sooner rather than later, as maintaining a title charge is never easy when you’re constantly battling off injury.
So far, though, the fact that Bielsa has managed to cope without so many players is a testament to the Argentine and if he can get the Whites promoted as champions then the fact that he’s had to deal with so many setbacks will only go to show that the ex-Argentina head coach really is head and shoulders above the rest of the managers in the Championship.

We’d be out of sight now without the bad injuries

Just emphasises the job Bielsa has done. Absolutely incredible.

I honestly feel we would be at least 10 points better off if we would of had the likes of Bamford, Brown and Dallas available since December. And I'm sure not many teams would have missed players like Pablo and Roofe for the amount of games we did early on and still be top now

The Whites are loving the job being done by Bielsa and seeing how many players he’s had to do without is only making his job look more impressive.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
