Leeds fans may absolutely love Pontus Jansson, but for once they are calling for the Swedish defender to be left out on Wednesday for their play-off semi-final second leg at Elland Road against Derby. That is purely because Gaetano Berardi was so good in the first leg and the Whites want him to start in the second leg.
Jamie Shackleton deserves to keep his place on yesterday’s performance but Adam Forshaw expected to miss the second leg in any case. A wait to see if Pontus Jansson will be fit:https://t.co/Hn6cXqyLsh

Changes are expected to be made from the start when Leeds welcome Derby County to Elland Road. Jamie Shackleton will likely come into the side to replace Adam Forshaw, a change that Marcelo Bielsa made in-game when Forshaw limped off, but the change that the fans do not want to see Bielsa make is for Berardi. The Swiss defender has had an injury-hit season, but the Whites love him and want him to start.
His performance up against Derby’s attack was impressive, to say the least. With the likes of Harry Wilson, Mason Mount, Tom Lawrence and David Nugent providing Derby’s attacking threat, having a centre-back pairing of Liam Cooper and Gaetano Berardi worked well. The pair complemented each other and got the job done, and now it will be giving Bielsa a headache as if Jansson is fit the Swede will expect to go straight back in.

Berardi did well too, I expect him to start as well

Bera was quality imo and deserves to start

Phil I would say Berardi deserves to keep his place to even if Pontus fit as that block on Nugent was top drawer #lufc

I wouldn’t drop Berardi for Jansson personally. We played the way we did at the start of the season with Berardi at CB, and Jansson seemed to have lost his head in the last few games.

Bera was immense yesterday, throw back to first half of season

Beradi should stay in mot

Wouldn't change it if Pontus is fit, berrardi was very good as he was earlier in the season

Keep the same team. No changes. We looked quality defensively it would he a shame to take berardi out I thought he covered well

The Whites are all keen to see Berardi keep his place and won’t be pleased if Jansson comes in for the Swiss stopper.
