Leeds fans on Twitter just cannot comprehend Pablo Hernandez’s brilliance

Like a fine wine, Pablo Hernandez only seems to get better with age. The Spaniard has shown time and time again what he’s all about this season, and yet again he shone as last night saw the Whites record a 3-0 win at the Madejski Stadium. The 33-year-old scored a first-half brace and had the travelling fans off their seats throughout the game.

Marcelo Bielsa’s crafty Spaniard is surely the best player in the Championship? Just when you think you’ve seen it all from the ex-Valencia ace he pulls a goal out of the bag like his second goal from yesterday. With nothing appearing to be on and after some neat possession from the away side, Hernandez looked up and pinged the ball past Emiliano Martinez from 25-yards to make it 3-0, leaving the Leeds fans speechless.

With Hernandez’s well-taken brace yesterday he brought up Championship goals number nine and ten for the season. This is the first time in three attempts that he’s managed double figures for goals in a single season in the Championship, and with 11 assists to his name too, this really is his best season in the famous white of Leeds. From here, with the veteran playmaker in this kind of form, it would be a crime for the Whites not to go up, and the fans are desperate to see Hernandez in the Premier League.

With that in mind, here’s what the Elland Road faithful had to say about the sublime Spaniard:

Hernandez just seems to get better and better as the weeks go by, and with Sheffield United on Saturday he’ll have to be at his creative and goalscoring best.
