Leeds United: Some fans pile pressure on owner to invest heavily in January

Leeds’ 2-1 victory against Blackburn on Saturday saw them stay just two points behind league leaders West Brom, and fans are already looking forward to January in hope that they’ll bring in some reinforcements. Owner Andrea Radrizzani is a controversial figure at the club, but fans will be hoping he’s planning on some New Year spending.

The Whites have scored 21 goals so far this season, but that’s one less than Swansea two points below them, 10 less than Preston in second and eight behind West Brom. Patrick Bamford has scored just five in 16 appearances, while Eddie Nketiah is just 20-years-old, so Marcelo Bielsa could do with another forward option to make sure they don’t falter like last season.
