Leeds supporters in the Transfer Tavern have been somewhat quieter this week after seeing their team bow out of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men went into their encounter with fellow Championship outfit Preston North End having won four and drawn the other of their opening five league games, thus sitting pretty at the summit of the division. But their participation in the Carabao Cup is over for another season as goals from Daniel Johnson and Brandon Barker sealed a 2-0 win for Alex Neil’s Preston at Elland Road, thus booking their place in the third round.
Thus, there have been some frustrated Leeds fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have been reacting to the news that midfielder Eunan O’Kane has left the club to join Luton Town on loan until January 2019.

The 28-year-old made the move to Elland Road back in 2016 after a four-year stint at Bournemouth, and he went on to appear 58 times for the Yorkshire giants, 32 of which coming last season to help the Whites to a 13th place finish in the Championship.
But in failing to appear in any of their opening five league matches under Bielsa this term, the writing was clearly on the wall for O’Kane, thus prompting League One side Luton to acquire his services temporarily until the New Year.
And several Leeds fans took to Twitter to express their views on the midfielder’s departure, with many saying the same thing in regard to how good an addition O’Kane could prove to be for Luton…
That’s an unreal signing for them

Good signing for Luton. Don’t know why people need to be nasty. He had some good games for Leeds, just not quite up to the standard of what they need right now to get where they want to go. Best of luck to him.
