A selection of Leeds United supporters have been reacting on social media to Jack Harrison achieving a perfect record for take-ons attempted against Stoke City in the Championship encounter on Saturday.
Harrison attempted and completed six take-ons against the Potters according to data collected by Stats Zone, as his side emerged 3-0 victors at the bet365 Stadium to retain the top spot in the division ahead of Swansea City on goal difference.
The Manchester City-owned winger’s efforts were double that of any other player who took to the field during the Whites triumph over Stoke at the weekend, and also the best individual take-on performance by a Leeds player in the Championship this season.
He is now averaging 2.2 successful take-ons per game in the second-tier this term, which is an increase of 0.8 compared to his record achieved during his debut campaign in West Yorkshire.
Along with improving his success rate at take-ons, Harrison is now averaging a greater number of key passes per ninety minutes, with WhoScored crediting the former England youth international with 1.8 this term compared with 1.3 last season.
Many Leeds supporters reacting to Harrison’s statistics from the Stoke win have been lauding the 22-year-old for his development compared to his inaugural campaign with the club, with fans noting that they can see how hard he must have worked.
Here’s what these fans have shared…
Well spotted. That's the best individual take-on performance by any Leeds player this season (6/6), and a personal best for Harrison for the club. He's averaging 2.2 successful take-ons per game, up from 0.8 last season. A significant increase. #LUFC https://t.co/j3QLZyDFNb

What I was impressed by against Stoke was he wss disposessed at one point but was rapid at turning back and keeping posession. A lot better looking after the ball this season.
