Leeds fans take to Twitter to call for Brown’s senior debut

Leeds fans have been waiting and waiting and waiting for their loan signing from last summer, Izzy Brown, to make his first start for the club’s senior side. After recovering from a knee ligament injury the 22-year-old has spent plenty of time with the Whites’ U23s squad, and now the fans want him to step up.

It’s fair to say that this week is a huge one for Leeds United. The  Elland Road faithful will be travelling to Loftus Road tonight to take on QPR in a game where a win will take them above both Sheffield United and Norwich in the Championship to top spot. Then, in just three days time they take on West Bromwich Albion on Friday night and will be looking to avenge the 4-1 defeat they suffered against WBA away from home.

To get both of those wins under their belts and go into the first weekend of March six points better off than they are now then the fans are desperate for Izzy Brown to star. In the absence of Kemar Roofe one of the most like-for-like replacements that Marcelo Bielsa has available to him is the Chelsea loanee, and after waiting weeks without risking the striker, this could be the perfect time for him to step in and shine.

You can read the Whites’ thoughts on Brown here:

The Whites cannot wait to see Brown in action and will hope the Chelsea man can shine for them and help them make that final step up.
