Leeds fans take to Twitter to celebrate Jack Harrison heroics

Leeds United fans will be delighted with yesterday’s result. The Whites were sublime throughout against Sheffield Wednesday and were good value for their 1-0 win in the Championship’s later kick off. In the end, it was Jack Harrison who broke the deadlock and won the game, and the fans loved it as they lauded the young winger’s winner.

Jack Harrison came in on-loan from Manchester City at the start of the season and he really hasn’t hit the heights that a lot of the optimistic Whites thought he would. The goals and assists have been few and far between, however, he scored a late equaliser against Millwall at The Den earlier in the season and then yesterday’s winner against the Owls, so those two goals alone are enough for the fans to get behind the youngster.

The 22-year-old started alongside Pablo Hernandez and Patrick Bamford in a front-three and he was sublime throughout. Stretching the Sheffield Wednesday backline with the likes of Hernandez and the overlapping wingbacks, Harrison put in one of his best performances for the club as Marcelo Bielsa’s side put in a masterclass against Steve Bruce’s Wednesday to extend their gap over 3rd placed Sheffield United to three points.
