Jack Harrison hasn’t always been the man that Leeds United have wanted, but yesterday he was the man they needed at Pride Park. In a game of little quality, the young on-loan Man City winger produced the only goal of the game with a little bit of brilliance, playing a neat one-two with Stuart Dallas before putting the ball on a plate for Kemar Roofe.

Plenty of times this season we’ve seen Harrison fail to deliver in the big moments when it matters, but his few sparks of quality have kept the Whites and Marcelo Bielsa believing. Those sparks of brilliance have been few and far between, but yesterday’s moment was one that has seen the Yorkshire club put one foot into the playoff final at Wembley, and he’s won a lot of fans over with it.
After a meagre campaign from the youngster, should Harrison step up twice more at Elland Road and then at Wembley he will have well and truly made his loan-spell at the club worth it, and he may even convince Bielsa to sign him in summer. Talks of summer are premature for now, though, as the next 90 minutes against Derby and then another potential 90 at Wembley are what the Whites are worried about for now.

The flick, the return ball, the pace, the amazing pass. He was immense today

Harrison has that in his locker but we only see it once every eight games or so hence why he only had 2 assists all year before today. Two more similar games tho and it’s been worth it

Not just the pass, the backheel for one two is fantastic.

The Perfect curling Cross… A thing of beauty.

@KurtisDickinson I remember that sexy flick he did but I forgot it was before the goal. Absolutely beautiful.

Also the litte flick prior. He’s underrated by the fans, fortunately not by Bielsa. #lufc

The Leeds fans watching on yesterday couldn’t get enough of Harrison yesterday and will be desperate for him to put in a similar display on Wednesday in front of a rocking Elland Road.
