Leeds fans have become used to Marcelo Bielsa being laid back with his team news and they often get hints of who will be used on the weekend when their gaffer faces the media on the Thursday or the Friday before. This week, ahead of their clash with Bolton at Elland Road, Bielsa has confirmed that Tyler Roberts will be starting.
Bielsa on Jack Clarke: "He's not available yet." Tyler Roberts will replace Kemar Roofe against Bolton. #lufc

Kemar Roofe suffered an injury when the Whites overcame Swansea 2-1 last week and despite the fact he played the full 90 mintes he looks to have picked up a nasty blow. In his absence the fans will be calling for the likes of Patrick Bamford, Tyler Roberts and the soon to be ready Izzy Brown to hit some form, and whilst they’ll be delighted to see any of those three used, Roberts makes the most sense.
Earlier in the season, when Roofe was sidelined with a muscle injury, the young Welsh forward, who’s been capped four times by Wales manager Ryan Giggs, stepped up to the plate. Between September and October the young striker managed to impress, starting seven straight Championship games, scoring three goals, and now he’ll be keen to do so again.
You can read the Whites’ thoughts on the Roberts news here:
Im a fan of Tyler Roberts personally.. But surely Izzy Brown isnt far off?

I can see @official_tyro making a big impact over the next few weeks. Got that bit of class in a tight spot.

Happy with that, Tyler’s done well when he’s featured for us this season. Still such a young player too

The Whites are more than happy to see Bielsa relying on the young striker and will hope he can step up to the plate as he did earlier in the season.
