Our Leeds United fans here in the Transfer Tavern remain quietly confident that their side is going to be in the play-offs come the end of the season.
The Whites have gone pretty well this year but recent results have drawn our local United fans to feel that consistency – and more of it – is now needed.
That is a job for Garry Monk and his men to sort out on the training ground though it appears one young striker will not be playing any part in that.
According to Talksport, the Elland Road club have decided against signing on the 19-year-old trialist that was with them – Mitja Krizan.
The striker was obviously aiming to impress Monk and the rest of the coaching staff but seems to have not done enough and will have to wait for another chance to play in England.
Leeds will be keen to plan for the future over the coming months – if they go up or not – and so getting the right quality players in has to be a key part of that.
