Marcelo Bielsa has worked miracles so far this season and will hope to continue his brilliant start during the next half of the season.
Leeds currently sit top of the tree with Christmas edging closer by the day and that usually is a good sign for a team’s success rate.
With Premier League promotion in their sight, Leeds will want to bolster their squad a little to more to ensure they have enough to do so.
All around, their starting eleven is good enough to beat any team in the Championship, yet their squad depth could do with some improvements.
Specifically at the front end of the team with Samu Saiz rumoured to be leaving, Leeds may deem it sensible to try and sign Huddersfield’s winger, stroke forward, Elias Kachunga.
The 26-year-old, (who is valued at £3.1 million on Transfermarkt) is a player that would be available, due to playing just three games in the Premier League so far this season.
Having joined the season Huddersfield were promoted from the Championship into the top flight, Kachunga is no stranger to the division and was, in fact, a great player in it.
With 12 goals and four assists during his 42 outings in the Championship, those figures alone show why Leeds should be taking a punt on the DR Congo international.
Not only can he play on either side of the wing, Kachunga can also operate as a main striker, with all the tools to fire Leeds back into the top flight.
Leeds need to recruit if they want a squad strong enough to make it all the way through this season and signing Elias Kachunga would be a tremendous start.
