Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are certainly pleased with the way their season has started under new manager Thomas Christiansen.
Indeed, it appears any lingering doubt over whether or not the Spanish manager would be able to adapt quickly to the Championship has subsided with the club unbeaten so far.
Certainly, the Whites’ gaffer has signed players in this summer’s window that – although in the main unheard of – seem to have settled quickly and have performed well leading the club to two wins and two draws.
Whether anyone else comes in, then, remains to be seen but it does look as though Liam Bridcutt could be off to Nottingham Forest with Phil Hay reporting on Twitter that it’s looking close:
Transfer news – Liam Bridcutt close to Nottingham Forest move. Been given permission to speak to them. Could go through in next 24 hours.

For sure, Bridcutt seems to have fallen down the pecking order at the club despite once being a key player for them and with Forest going well this season, it could prove a mistake.
So far, though, the club seems to have got its business spot on this summer and so our local Whites aren’t worrying too much about this potential departure.
Bridcutt is a good player and Leeds fans are sure to miss him but it makes sense that he is let go if he isn’t in Thomas Christensens’ plans.
For sure, the Spanish manager seems to know who he wants and who he doesn’t for this campaign and now our Leeds fans are hoping that it doesn’t come back to bite them in boosting Forest.
