Leeds tracking 25-year-old star as transfer plans continue

Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are happy with how things have started this season for their club.

The Whites began building momentum in the close season with them reacquiring Elland Road and seeing Andrea Radrizzani becoming sole owner of the club.

Indeed, Thomas Christiansen added to that by signing plenty of players and after two wins from two competitive games, things are looking decent so far.

It appears, too, that the work in the market is still far from over with The Yorkshire Evening Post saying that the club is still monitoring 25-year-old Hamburg man Pierre-Michel Lasogga.

The Whites have apparently been following the striker for some time and are still keen with just a few weeks left in the window so this could prove one of their final bits of business.

Certainly, he’d come out of the left-field – like many of Christiansen’s signings – and the hope would be that he packs a pleasantly surprising punch.

Landlord’s Verdict

Leeds have been impressive in the lead up to this campaign whilst they’ve also done a good job in turning that into some decent performances at the start of this season.

For sure, then, there’s a feel-good factor at the club and if they manage to sign Lasogga there will surely be an onus on him to add to that.
