Leeds United’s superb start to the Championship season continued this weekend as they dispatched Rotherham United at Elland Road to make it three in three.
New manager Marcelo Bielsa has enjoyed an excellent start to his reign in one of the hottest managerial seats outside the Premier League, and his style of play and general presence has been a huge lift for the Yorkshire club it would seem.
However, his work is not done in terms of transfers, and the Argentinian manager could well do with adding one or two more new faces to the ranks before the loan to buy window slams shut in two weeks’ time.
One player we here at the Tavern think the club need to be sealing a loan move for is Chelsea man Tammy Abraham.
The 20-year-old looks like being forced to once again bide his time in terms of getting football at the Bridge, and a move to the Championship would seem the most logical solution for the big English striker.
Abraham would compliment Leeds superbly, and despite the form of Kemar Roofe, he would bring a guarantee of goals at this level, as he proved from his time with Bristol City.
Roofe, Patrick Bamford, and Abraham would be quite the trio for the Elland Road club, and they could well be the difference between promotion and not for the Yorkshiremen.
Leeds fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
