Leeds United: Fans bemoan decision to substitute Patrick Bamford

Leeds United fans were left bemoaning the decision to substitute Patrick Bamford in their draw to Cardiff City at the weekend.
With the score locked at 3-1 to the Whites, Marcelo Bielsa made the choice to sub off the 26-year-old for loanee Eddie Nketiah.
The result was then turned on its head after goals from Sean Morrison and Robert Glatzel saw the Bluebirds rescue a point at Elland Road, despite Morrison having been sent off with the scores at 3-2 (via BBC).
Nketiah proved to have a decent impact when coming on for Bamford, finishing with the joint-third most shots at goal and being fouled the joint-second most times (via WhoScored).
Fans seemed to be left frustrated with the decision from the Argentine manager as they took to Twitter to bemoan Bamford coming off.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:
The subs killed us – Bamford off is the same old story and bringing Struijk on was silly.

Shouldn’t have subbed him. Every time we do we switch off

Shape goes, everything changes. Pablo staying on was incorrect for me today, he looked tired.

Turning point was taking off Bamford for Nketiah. We were comfortable enough at 3-1 then that change ruined the hold up. Absolute shambles. Love our Bielsa but today the subs today were terrible calls. I dont know why Harrison came off instead of Pablo. I’ve no words. Go again

We conceded twice after Nketiah came on for Bamford. Today isn’t the first time we’ve collapsed after that sub. Bamford holds the ball up brilliantly. We lose our shape every time Eddie comes on. He doesn’t suit our style of play & he thinks he’s better than he actually is. #LUFC

I agree. It was subs for the sake of it. Bamford and Berardi should never have been taken off. We completely lost our shape and rhythm.
