Leeds United fans were bemoaning a statistic about the club’s lack of end product in the final-third following their 2-0 loss away to Nottingham Forest.
Marcelo Bielsa’s sides finishing has been abysmal over last few games and according to LUFC Data, the club hasn’t scored in five of their last six matches. The Championship fixture against Millwall was the only game during the run where the Yorkshire outfit found the back of the net as they came from 2-0 down to beat the Lions 3-2.
The game against Wigan Athletic proves to be the best example as the Whites missed a plethora of glorious opportunity to beat the Latics (via BBC). Patrick Bamford was at the heart of the struggles, having had seven shots on goal, the most for his team, as he put a header past the post whilst unmarked and had the ball being cleared off the line twice (via WhoScored).
Will Marcelo Bielsa be Leeds manager next season?
Fans were left frustrated with the stat about the lack of cutting edge in attack as they took to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:
How can the management leave a striker on at halftime when we did not have a single shot on target.
Then Bamford is still on for another 26 minutes.
But it’s not just Bamford who let us down today. They should have stayed in Leeds. It was embarrassing to watch.

Looks like being too late!!

Add that to the terrible stat that we have only scored in 1 game of the previous 10 in the first half (Birmingam). The wheels have well and truely come off.

Relegation form. Thank the Lord we have 50 points.

Infuriating to see the usual cavalcade of blind cut backs, feeble layoffs and miserable crossing up front. At our worst (and we are at our worst) we make scoring look a borderline impossible task. #LUFC https://t.co/nbZLcpCZAD
