Leeds United fans were left blasting The Mirror after their report into Ezgjan Alioski’s celebration during the side’s win over Huddersfield Town.
The North Macedonia international was seen putting his finger under his nose and pointing to the stand in what was deemed a controversial celebration by the British newspaper.

However, Alioski came out after the game and said the celebration was aimed at the team manager, who had grown a moustache for ‘Movember’ and has kept it as a lucky charm ever since (via The Independent).
The celebration came after he scored a stunning volley from outside the box in the 2-0 win over their Yorkshire rivals.
It was a result that saw the side extend their lead over third-placed Fulham to eight points after the west London side lost at home to Bristol City.
Should Leeds break the bank for Gayle?
Fans were less than pleased after the report from The Mirror as they took to Twitter to blast publication.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Yorkshire faithful:
Actually he was doing it to promote a club member who’s growing a mo for MoVember, you know the CHARITY!!!! and because we’ve been unbeaten since the guy has the moustache they’ve made him keep it. Such losers !!!!!

The standard of journalism you have is appalling. Could literally get schoolkids to do a better job.
