Many Leeds fans have responded on Twitter after seeing the club owner Andrea Radrizzani posing with the FIFA Fair Play Award.
Leeds United and their manager, Marcelo Bielsa, won the 2019 award at the annual award ceremony in Milan after the Argentinian coach ordered his team to let Villa score an equaliser at Elland Road in April.
In what was a feisty affair in the lead up to the end of the Championship campaign, Mateusz Klich scored to put Leeds in front after Jonathan Kodjia sustained an injury.
An encounter followed the goal between both sets of sides, which led to a red card being shown to Anwar El Ghazi. However, when play restarted, Bielsa told his side to allow Villa through, allowing Albert Adomah to score the goal – even if Pontus Jansson did make a last-ditch effort to try and tackle him.
Liam Cooper and Andrea Radrizzani were both pictured at the award, and the Leeds chief even posted a couple of pictures at the event, which included one with a certain Mr Kylian Mbappe.
Unsurprisingly, seeing Cooper and Radrizzani pictured next to Mbappe sparked bedlam among the Leeds fans – have a look at some of their responses below…
