Leeds United fans were excited after Mateusz Klich won the Championship’s goal of the month competition.
His strike against Middlesbrough proved to be the winner with over 70% of the public vote.
It was strike that came from a short corner routine as Pablo Hernandez and Kalvin Phillips exchanged a few passes before the latter passed to Klich, who curled the ball brilliantly into the top corner.
Klich was on fire during that game against Boro as he scored a brace for the Whites in a 4-0 win with Patrick Bamford and Helder Costa rounding off a good afternoon.
Fans were over the moon after Klich was announced as the winner of the competition as they took to Twitter to react.
