Leeds United: Fans fume after controversial incident involving Liam Cooper

Leeds United fans were fuming after Liam Cooper revealed that he was asked to apologise for a controversial incident during the defeat to Fulham.

The club captain revealed that the FA told him that they heard him swear at a ball boy during the clash at Craven Cottage (via Liam Cooper).

Cooper has since come out and apologised to the person in question and even disclosed that he’s sent a signed shirt and boots to the west London side to hand over.

The incident occurred during a tough game for the Whites, who eventually went down 2-1 to the Cottagers after a late winner from Josh Onomah.

Following the loss, Marcelo Bielsa spoke of his admiration for his Championship rivals by claiming they are the best team in the league.

Fans were far from happy about Cooper apologising for his actions as they took to Twitter to display their displeasure.

Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:

Leeds fans, what do you make of the incident involving Cooper? Is his conduct befitting of a captain? Let us know your thoughts!
