Leeds United: Fans gush over Liam Cooper’s performance

After Liam Cooper took to Twitter following Leeds United’s emphatic 4-0 victory over Middlesbrough, a number of supporters took the time to laud his performance.

The Whites took control of the Championship heading into Sunday with goals from Patrick Bamford, Helder Costa and a brace from Mateusz Klich as they brushed aside former star Johnathan Woodgate’s lacklustre side in front of a packed out Elland Road (BBC).
Marcelo Bielsa’s men are on an impressive run of form at the moment and do not appear to be stopping any time soon, although their next match may provide them with a stiff test – a Yorkshire derby with Huddersfield Town in next Saturday’s early kick-off.
Some fans alluded to that game when leaving their messages for Cooper, although most were just full of praise following the 90 minutes he produced on the pitch.
According to the data analysts WhoScored, the Scotland international managed to make one tackle, one interception and one clearance as he achieved a match rating of 7.10.
Here are just some of the reactions that fans left…
What a team. What a captain. What a club! #MOT #ALAW
